In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Talk Talk's iconic 'It's My Life' album, it has been cut at Half-Speed by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, overseen by Talk Talk drummer Lee Harris and Charlie Hollis, son of Mark Hollis, giving the album a greater depth.

The next in the series of the Talk Talk half-speed masters will be the band's third studio album The Colour Of Spring, which celebrates its 40th anniversary. <br/>Cut at half-speed by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, overseen by the band's drummer Lee Harris and Charlie Hollis, son of frontman Mark Hollis.

Often lauded a masterpiece, Spirit Of Eden marked a radical change from Talk Talk's synth-pop beginnings - moulding into an album that would go onto pioneer post-rock. <br/><br/>The album was produced over the course of almost a year, compiling improvised, experimental performances which culminated in a mixture of jazz, ambient, rock into one of the most experimental albums. <br/><br/>Released in 1988, the album has somewhat grown in cult status to frequently appear on a number of greatest albums of all time lists. <br/><br/>The album will be cut at half-speed for the first time at Metropolis Studios, following up from the half- speed master of It's My Life at the end of 2024.

The Very Best Of Talk Talk will be available on vinyl for the first time, fully supported and approved by the band and Mark Hollis' estate. <br/>It is a reissue of the 1997 best of, but with a tweak to include New Grass from their last album Laughing Stock (Universal owned).<br/><br/>With a career spanning just 10 years, Talk Talk left an everlasting impact and legacy on music with a relatively short career. Starting out as a synth-pop group, with singles like "Talk Talk" and one of the biggest songs of the 80s in "It's My Life."<br/>Talk Talk continued to experiment and challenge themselves all along their career whilst maintaining critical success with albums such as The Colour Of Spring and Spirit Of Eden. <br/>With the latter, they went on to pioneer what then became known as post-rock and is critically acclaimed a masterpiece to this day.
